The Advanced Action Words Megadeck takes children beyond their first verbs. It has 104 cards, each showing one action, from everyday movements like swinging and bouncing to more specific actions like peeling and showing. A wider range of verbs lets children describe what is happening more precisely, build longer sentences and tell clearer stories. Enter any card's number in the Chatterbugs app to hear the action word, then a sentence describing the picture.

Why a bigger verb vocabulary matters
Children who know only a handful of verbs end up using the same few for everything. A wider range lets them say exactly what they mean, for example "peeling" rather than "doing", or "showing" rather than "giving". That precision shows up in their sentences, their stories and their answers to questions.
How the audio works
- Go to chatterbugs.app and enter the code from your box.
- Choose a language.
- Enter the card number to hear the action word and a sentence.
In the app you can slow the audio down, replay just the word or just the sentence, and record your own voice as the model. Audio plays online, so you'll need an internet connection.
How to use the cards
- Start small. Choose 5 to 10 cards at a time rather than the whole deck.
- Name and act. Show the card, play the audio, then act the action out together.
- Make a sentence. Ask your child to describe the card in their own words: "The boy is bouncing the ball."
- Sort and compare. Group cards by theme, such as kitchen actions or playground actions, and talk about how they differ.
- Use it in stories. When reading or retelling a story, look for chances to use the new verbs.
